Fess Fest 2013 - An All-Star Fundraiser to help rebuild Professor Longhair's family home
The Benefit will feature an All-Star line-up with Jon Cleary, Donald Harrison Jr., George Porter Jr., Mark Mullins, Alfred "Uganda" Roberts, Shannon Powell, Detroit Brooks, Tracy Griffin, and very special guest actor, comedian, writer, musician: Hugh Laurie and special guest artist Joe Jackson.

The Meters among 2014 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominees !!
"The Meters are back among the nominees for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 2014 class. Five to seven artists will be voted in from a nominees' list that also includes Chic, Deep Purple, Peter Gabrial, KISS, Yes, Linda Ronstadt, Nirvana, the Paul Butterfield Blues Band.
